Basic S.W.A.T
60 hours
This comprehensive course is designed for officers who expect to be assigned to their agency's Law Enforcement
S.W.A.T. Team and responsible for carrying out all associated duties. This course covers the instruction and knowledge, skills, and attitudes
necessary to perform the basic duties of the entry level S.W.A.T. officer. Classroom,
firing fanges, and access to an area for scenario training is included in this course. Topics of instruction are:
1. History of SWAT
2. Liability
3. Barricaded Subjects
4. Hostage Situations
5. High Risk Warrants
6. Suicidal / Emotionally disturbed subjects
7. Vehicle Barricaded Situations
8. Civil Unrest
Cost: starts at $500 per student
Prerequisites:
Students must be Active Law Enforcement Officers, Federal, State, Military or
Corrections personnel, in good standing with their attached agency.
Students must be able to provide a valid agency ID on the first day of class.
There will be a pass/fail physical assessment the morning of the first day of class.
Students should show up for class in PT gear -- bring clothes to change into after.
Students failing the physical assessment will not be allowed to stay in the class.
The PT test consists of:
1.5 mile run (16:28 or better)
300 meter run (1:11 or better)
Push Ups (25 / 1 min)
Sit Ups (29 / 1 min)
The physical fitness assessment will start at 0800hrs on SUNDAY, (location will be
included in your reservation confirmation e-mail). You will be required to provide
transportation for you and your gear to different training sites in and around the city area
throughout the week.
NOTE: The course schedule is flexible—the day may begin as early at 0800 hours and
may end as late as 2200 hours. Students should be prepared for a range of schedules
throughout the course week.

includes BDU or similar tactical uniform to include long sleeves, PT clothing, soft body
armor, ballistic helmet, long-weapon with sling (M4/AR-15) A handgun and tactical rig,
three magazines, 300 rounds for handgun, 300 rounds for Rifle, 150 Simm rounds
and bolt for Rifle, 150 Simm rounds for pistol, gas mask, tactical light, tactical boots,
gloves, eye & ear protection, rain gear, weapon cleaning gear, note taking material, sunscreen, bug spray, water, other beverages, snacks, and lunches.

Advanced S.W.A.T.
40 hours
Course is designed for officers who are assigned to Law Enforcement S.W.A.T. Team. This course will introduce the students to planning and execution in Hostage Rescue techniques involving mechanical breaching, room clearing, and distraction devices in a crisis. Topics to be covered in this course are:
● HRT overview
● Individual and team movements
● Firearms training
● Strong hold options
● Stealth to contact
● Open air options
● Mobile option
● Vehicle assaults
● Tactical rescue
● Tubular assaults
Cost: $450
Prerequisites:
Students must have successfully completed a Basic S.W.A.T. Course. The student must be an Active Law Enforcement Officers, Federal, State, Military or Corrections personnel, in good standing with their agency.
Students must be able to provide agency ID on the first day of class.
There will not be a pass/fail physical assessment the morning of the first day of class, however. Students should show up for class in physical condition.

Response to Large Venue Crisis
40-50 hour
When a special event is held, it is necessary to ensure the safety of all participants. Swat team personnel may be assigned to these events due to the complexity and size of the event and may require performing the various roles and duties as part of a large security team. This course will familiarize the roles SWAT personnel will perform at different areas of the event when responding to a crisis in a large venue with multiple active shooters and multiple hostage takers.
These extreme situations call Communication and Leadership to coordinate a response in a large venue setting.
This class will be taught by S.W.A.T. personnel.
Class will start on Monday date, at 0800hrs. The first morning will start with administrative duties, course briefing and introductions and then squads will be formed and assigned to an Instructor for the week’s course.

Response to Barricaded Subject

This course teaches officers basic guidelines to resolve a situation in which a subject who is armed and has barricaded themselves in a structure and hot to resolve the situation.

Two Man Tactics
16 Hours
The objective of this CQB course is to teach the students safe, effective, two-man movements through a doorway, getting to an area in the room and dominating that room with only two people. Other tactics will include threat discrimination and accurate engagement. This course is designed to further develop the student tactically and physically condition the mind for a fighting skill set.
Cost: $250
Prerequisites:
Students must have successfully completed a Basic S.W.A.T. Course. The student must be an Active Law Enforcement Officers, Federal, State, Military or Corrections personnel, in good standing with their agency.
Students must be able to provide agency ID on the first day of class.

Small Team Tactics
24 Hours
The objective of this CQB course is to teach the students safe, effective, team movements through a positive breach point, getting to an area in the room and dominating that room. Other tactics will include threat discrimination and accurate engagement. This course is designed to further develop the student tactically and physically condition the mind for a fighting skill set.

Manual Breaching
10 Hours
The most common type of method to enter a location during a raid or crisis is the defeating of a door or window by using a tool. This course includes classroom lecture, hands on practical repetitions as well as scenarios that utilize what is learned in the course.
Cost: $150

The student must be an Active Law Enforcement Officers, Federal, State, Military or Corrections personnel, in good standing with their agency.
Students must be able to provide agency ID on the first day of class.

Shotgun Breaching
10 Hours
Certain exigent circumstances require a of method entry when an issue of time to breach and enter is of the essence. This course includes classroom lecture, hands on practical repetitions as well as scenarios that utilize what is learned in the course. We can combine this course with Manual Breaching for a two-day course for $200.
Cost: $150

Patrol Rifle Training
16 hours
This course will include classroom time to refresh the Nomenclature, disassembly, cleaning, and assembly of the AR-15 Rifle. Chamber Checking and Unloading the AR-15. The course will then move onto a range where the student will go through multiple drills including but not limited to Unsupported/ Supported Shooting Positions, Tactical and Speed Reloading of the AR-15, Transitioning Drills, shooting and moving. We can customize this course to include a third day for room clearing tactics with the rifle.

S.W.A.T Tryout Preparation Workshop

This course will take the student through a mock physical evaluation, job tasked obstacles and fundamental weapons handling that may be required to join a Tactical Team.
